Kinesik Safety and Accessibility Products at Peggys Cove

Anyone who has visited Peggy’s Cove this fall will note the dramatic difference, with the addition of a new viewing deck, washrooms and safety & accessibility products.

Bird Stairs distributes Kinesik products, including tactile plates and Ecoglo edging for stairs. The tactile plates were used on this project to demarcate walking areas for those with visual impairment. Kinesik tactile plates are backed by a reputation of effective design.

The Ecoglo products were used for identifying the step edge in the dark. This product charges via sunlight, and thus doesn’t require a power source. Ecoglo also has products for indoor use.
