Join Our Team: Inside Sales for Residential Roofing
Location: Bird Stairs – Dartmouth, Nova Scotia

We’re looking for an enthusiastic Inside Sales Representative to join our Residential Roofing Division. This full time, permanent role is perfect for someone who loves connecting with customers, providing expert advice, and ensuring clients find the perfect solutions for their roofing needs. Key Responsibilities:

  • Attending customers by telephone, email or in person at the counter
  • Support Outside Sales staff with customer order entry, expediting and quotations
  • Maintain quality service by following organizational standards
  • Provide technical support on product selection and application
  • Proactively handle incoming and outgoing customer telephone calls in a courteous and professional manner. Will solicit orders from existing and new customer base
  • Coordinate the prompt handling of customer service requests, including, but not limited to, order entry, pricing, expediting, billing, order maintenance, credit, and claims
  • Handle written correspondence received from and sent to customers in a timely manner
  • Maintain the merchandise on display and the counter area
  • Assist in the receiving and delivery of product

Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of Construction products and applications is an asset
  • Counter experience is an asset
  • Exhibits excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Able to prioritize work; be flexible
  • Consistently able to meet deadlines competently and timely
  • Practice excellent spoken and written communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products including Outlook, Excel, and Word

Preferred Skills and Experience:

  • Ability to handle a variety of customer situations with enthusiasm and tact
  • Excellent communications skills
  • Working knowledge of PC’s including Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Ability to work with all levels of employees and management, both internally and externally
